Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is famous around the world. As one of the must-see scenic spots in Thailand, lots of visitors specially fly there to dash for treasure. There are mainly three night bazaars in Chiang Mai: the daily night bazaar, the Saturday night bazaar, and the Sunday night bazaar. Not only can handworks and snacks be found in the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, but also bar and coffee house. The Chiang Mai Night Bazaar has everything that you expect to find.

The daily night bazaar is located along the Chang Klan Road. Visitors can get out of the Tha Pae Gate and walk to the east. Both sides of the road are full of vendor's stands. And there are also several big markets in the road. Compared with the Saturday night bazaar, and Sunday night bazaar, the daily night bazaar appears cold and cheerless without many snack stand.

The Saturday night bazaar is situated outside the South Gate which is also called the Chiang Mai Gate. The bazaar extends from the City Moat to the South Gate. Along the side of the City Moat, there are numerous snack stands and fruit stands. You can see the snacks from every corner of world along the street. On the street of the night bazaar, there are also some snack stands. But most of the stands are selling handiworks. Various kinds of buskers can be met along the street, including the blind, students, and kids. The most attractive is the people who offer massage by the street.

From the Wat Phra Singh to the Tha Pae Gate, the Sunday night bazaar can be found. Some of the by-passes are distributed with vendor’s stands. Even the temples, schools, and institutions are occupied by the small retailers. All shops and stores in the street where there is bazaar shut their door. Actually, the Sunday night market traverses the whole Chiang Mai ancient city. As the largest night bazaar, the Sunday night bazaar owns the largest population of visitors. At 8: 00 or 9: 00 p.m., some sections can be described as be tightly packed. Not only foreign visitors, but also the local residence wander in the night bazaar, choose the petty commodities they like, and taste various snacks.
