Daily Cooking Class
Getting to know the food is also a great way of learning about the country. Vietnamese food is healthy, simple to cook, delicious, and forms a large part of the culture. This half day tour gives you a hands-on lesson on how to shop for fresh ingredients and cook authentic Vietnamese food. You will prepare dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs at your own work station and each workshop will conclude with tasting the food you have prepared, accompanied by local beer or wine, in our comfortable dining area. Especially, all guests will receive detailed recipe cards and a certificate at the end of the class.
Cooking time: start at 9.00- 13.00 or 15.30- 18.30 everyday.
Class Size: 2 - 35 people
9.00am Our driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to Cooking Class
9.30am Meet our chef.
Enjoy a special “La Han” Vietnamese welcome tea
9.40am Brief introduction to Vietnamese cuisines, highlight the contents of tradition meal.
9.50am Take a short walk to the local market - Enjoy a tour of the market highlighting the ‘wet’ / unusual fruits / livestock / silk worms, with our chef. Have a lot of opportunities to take photos
10.20am Back to Cooking class and commence cooking class with our chefs.
Take home printed recipes as well as samples of some local fruit, green bean cake, quail eggs, etc.
12.00pm On completion of the cooking class, enjoy the meal.
Relax in the comfort of the dining area and enjoy a local beer or wine or lemon juice
