Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai train station

This evening, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Hanoi train station to board the overnight train to Sapa with comfortable sleeping berth and convenience.

Your train will arrive to Lao Cai town at around 5.30 Am the next day

Day 2: Sapa – Catcat – Ylinhho – Laochai - Tavan

When arriving at Lao Cai Railway station in the early morning, our guide will pick you up and take you for breakfast before transferring you to Sapa town.

We will start from Sapa town with the trek down to Catcat village where we will see and interact with Black H’Mong community. Then, we will follow the stunning river of Muong Hoa from Ylinhho to the village of Laochai & Tavan whew the H’mong and the Zay tribes live. Along the way, we will stop for Kodak opportunities and enjoy our picnic lunch.

Tonight, we will enjoy a traditional meal and overnight in Ta Van village with a local family which is a great opportunity to learn about the Zay culture,

Day 3: Tavan – Giangtachai – Supan – Banho – Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi

This morning, after breakfast, we will continue our trek to visit the Red Dzao tribe at Giang Ta Chai. Stop at a local waterfall for relax and picnic lunch. We then continue walk along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa river and trek up to Supan where we will walk down hill to Ban Ho village where we will interact with the Tay tribe in their beautiful house built on stilt and visit this surrounding area.

In the afternoon, our driver will pick you up for the transfer to Lao Cai town where we will have a shower before enjoying diner in local restaurant. Tonight, you will catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Accommodation: Sleeping train

Day 4: Hanoi Arrival

Arrive in Hanoi at around 05.00AM.
