The villages of Inle Lake are wonderfully picturesque. The Inthas live on the bank of the lake, and even build houses on water. Besides fishing, locals grow vegetables, fruits and flowers in large gardens on long strips of floating land. Like many floating market in South East Asia, Inle Floating market, has become a tourist place now.
